Laminate/Vinyl flooring over wood floor
That would be my first thought. Sand down the floor (large scale sander - no idea what its called) to flatten and smooth it an take the layer of old stained wood away... Then re-seal it. I don't like dark hard wood floors.... I was looking at a condo to move into a number of years back and the floors all had dark hardwood herringbone type flooring.... looked awful (IMO). BUT.. they showed me unit where they were removing the top layer of wood and adding a lighter seal (or whatever its called) and it opened up the room making it look much lighter). Depending on the thickness of the wooden floor - could a 1-2mm be taken off it to flatten and smooth it and then re-seal it - IMO thats better than flattening it and then covering it with some laminate. -

Here is a tip for you guys if your shipping is like 130 baht or more Shopee gives out BIG shipping vouchers a LOT LOT more often than Lazada does.....Lazada only gives out the 130 baht free shipping vouchers a few times a month if even that much... -

Why aren't bus seats made from flame retardant material?
Trust me, flame-retarding seat covers are the least of the problem in Thailand's fleet of "King of Bus". This accident blew everything out of proportion; the kids had no chances for all the wrong reasons. The driver is the "least guilty", get the entire lot of thousands of incompetent or corrupt staff in the transport ministry, the DLT, the fleet insurance, they tour company^s staff and certainly the owner(s) to the King's bench, cross-examine them on a person-by-person basis with live feed on social media and TV and, if found guilty, off to the slammer and throw away the key. The seat covers play a minor role and, in this case, most likely completely irrelevant -

Well, The pavements looked just like that in the photo when I first came to Bangkok, in 1980. I have heard, and read so many times from so many Mayors that the issue will be addressed as a matter of urgency. However, I will put money on them looking the same in the next 44 years. -

I Love Donald Trump
I love that Trump refused to officially endorse the 2020 election result - like many people he was very sceptical that so many postal/ballot box votes were cast in key States. But without any proof it is now all over - because the election has been officially signed off on in each State and accepted by Congress and the Senate. Trump has moved on (somewhat) and I am sure he thinks that the last 4 years has been good, in that it has shown the People of USA what the Dems are really like, and he will be returned to Office, and the GOP will be in Office for many years to come - while the radical lefties are running the Dem Party. Right now there is a new documentary/movie by Dinesh D'Souza - worth a look IMO. -
