English Man attempts suicide outside his Apartment complex as he waits for his Thai boyfriend who never came.

A consequence of living in a town often known as the City of Sin is falling in love and suffering from problems associated with relationship break-ups and other love-related issues. The Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation was called to The Pattaya Hill 2 Resort in Soi Kow Noi after a Security Guard had called them to assist in dealing with a suicidal foreign man. At the location they dealt with an English man called Alan aged 38 who was threatening to kill himself with a knife. The motive behind the case soon became apparent when rescue workers heard him shout out the name of a man known as “Dom” who it was later discovered was his Thai Boyfriend. The man was waiting outside the Resort with a knife in his hand and before rescue workers arrived he began to cut his wrist whilst shouting out the name of his boyfriend. The man was restrained and resisted the efforts of the rescue workers to take him to hospital. Eventually he was taken to Banglamung Hospital where he was treated for his wound. He is now undergoing a psychiatric evaluation and the British Embassy in Bangkok is closely monitoring the man’s condition.

I would think the guy has some serious mental issues,as trying to kill yourself because your bf stood you up is a bit extreme, or else he thought the amatuer dramatics would elicit sympathy from the bf & force him to not leave him. Either way, a very sad situation
