Still thinking about the 100,000 baht rebate for a new car purchase. I know that the supplies have been delayed due to flooding, but I am not in a hurry and can wait. (In other words, pre-order and wait for it to be built). I've got the choices narrowed to Nissan March or Honda Brio (both around 400,000 baht prior to rebate.) But, was wondering if it was possible to get a 4 door pickup for not a little much more. I would rather have a pickup to haul my motorcycle. But the pickups I've researched the prices for are significantly more expensive. Anyone know what the best price/value of a 4 door pickup is? Thanks.

The cheapest is (was? not sure if they still have stock) the Mazda BT-50 "Koom" 2.5L 5MT RWD which sells for 585,000 new.

Not sure on the excise rebate for this model, but would expect it to be 52,000-54,000.

Or the Ford Ranger Double Cab XL at 628,000 with 0% interest might work out cheaper when purchasing on finance (25% down, over 4 years).

As you know there are forum guys here who don't care about HP or TQ, just want a cheap ride , great, we have no problem, give them the info. Have seen a few Tata's in Ubon so perhaps somebody is happy, though the main agent in town has closed down (or moved) .

TATA I believe also comes with factory fitted gas tank-LPG-NPG which i like the idea of although wife wont even consider...must be a Toyo...argg...

The dealer probably closed before the three units he sold were due to come back for their scheduled service covered under the warranty. If in fact their were any scheduled service.

Sorry, I realize I should have reworded my topic heading. Instead of saying "What is the cheapest New 4 door Pickup" what I meant to say is "What is the cheapest new 4 door pickup that is not a friggn' Tata." Apologies for the inconvenience.
