Toyotas New Sports Car.

Featured Replies

It gets good reviews in the U.K... Will we see it here ? . Or will be given the Import Model , with the million pathetic reasons why we cant screw it together here. Any Ideas ?, at around 1Mill it looks a sure seller here.

If you're talking about the Toyota 86 (aka GT86 and FT86), it will be a 2.5M-3.0M car in Thailand, i.e. in the same range as the Mazda MX-5 and the Golf GTi. It'll be a fun little car, but it's just such a tough price bracket. I expect it'll get a lot more lookers than takers...

Wonderstar if you want speed how about motorbike, not a moped without pedals that they have here or a scoot that they call a motorbike. hic !

Reviewed in the Telegraph. So Simple. Under 2 Litre no frills Sports at 2.4K GBP..Same ilk as a TR7 size wise. The U.K Price is too hi, i hoped if they made it here at 4$ Hourly Track Worker rate instead of 30$, we could have a Car For 2 People who don't take Double Beds , Friges and 30 Thais everywhere. Its hard to fill a Yarris with food for 2..Be a change to have some choice without talking stupid money.. No Motorbike Anymore im lucky to still be alive , Thats on Superbikes , not mopeds, one of my daftest buys here.

Unfortunately there's no way it will be made in TH - as it's not even made by Toyota ;)

Subaru do all manufacturing for it (along with their BRZ badged version), and they're really still only setting up shop in Malaysia, with no plans for TH manufacturing facilities..

So thats another Avenue of Pleasure Dug Up. Seems were destined to drive what were given by Nanny State. It wouldn't hurt half as much buying an expensive and small ride here if some of the Cash Collected went to the Car Workers , instead of those who do nothing but build useless Airports and Rob Us... Went to the Big Volvo Showroom yesterday, not hard to see why the Dark Forces whack the Tax on imports. Only a Nutter would buy the Civic / Camrey / Accord / Tina. The SUV is nicer than the BM.X1, and Benz M.Most impressed.coffee1.gif

Funny how Honda can import Cars from Indonesia , a decision made in seconds without one Cetang price Increase , Perhaps Volvo don't dish out Backhanders.I still dont buy the Imported parts rubbish to justify the Small Benz price. Al GMs car , suv range are built from imported bit from god knows where, via the back door. You can bet its all made cheap Jap Steel wherever they come from. And i don't like Christmastime either. w00t.gif.
