There are a few choices when one wants to watch UK broadcast television via the internet. I have tried myiplayer.com but most of the UK streams are constantly buffering whereas the US streams are mostly fast... if mostly dross. However, the growing amount of pop-up adverts with timers is getting old.

I would assume that there may be more similar services available so please post links so we can check them out and share.

Thanks!

Hi NanLaew, Try unblock-us (google it) , its not free, but only

costs C$ 4.99 pm,works very well,one click install,and they

offer a weeks free trial,so nothing to loose, just try it.

You can watch,BBC iPlayer,ITV Player,4oD, and some US

channels.

Never foumd one yet that's actually what I would describe "watchable" , coughs farts and stutters it way through whether paid or un-paid.

Probably down to the poor internet speed in my area rather than the service on offer.

Try uk-tv.asia.

I've had it for a few days now and it works pretty fine.

Also free to try.

Looks good quality but if the Demo is all they give you for a 'free trial' then it aint much!

I also clicked the Purchase Subscription option and it immediately takes me to a logon page... how can I logon when I haven't purchased a subcription or am I missing something? I will send them an email; I see they are based in Pattaya.

You could give Ex Pat Shield a try. it is a proxy programme that masks your address and shows you as U.K. based. By doing this you are able to access all the U.K stations.

In my experience streaming just doesn't work properly here due to the crappy international bandwidth, especially to the UK.

I always go for download solutions, like BBC iplayer with a VPN.

Torrents from UKNova give me more programmes

than I can watch in a week. :D

Download, then watch when you want, rather than when they transmit.

I tried the link Nan Laew gave to UK-Tv.asia and downloaded it. However I couldn't get any programmes so I emailed them through the Contact Us button on the website and they sent me an email back very quickly with a license id and password. Free trial to 31st. Dec. but I don't know how much thereafter. Excellent service and no buffering. (It's about 5 minutes behind UK transmission times). Gratefully I was able to watch the UK snooker last week as if live. If not too expensive I'll be subscribing. Thank you Nan Laew.

At least you got a response and a decent trial length. The buggers still haven't responded to my request!
