I'm looking for a Tablet ( any make or size ) that has the capability's to connect to both the 850Mhz and 900Mhz 3G frequencies , so far Ive drawn a blank, it seems the combination of both 3G frequencies is a rear beast , or may not even exist , I would really like to buy a tablet here in Thailand . Do you know of such a model ?

Not sure about the 7.0 Plus? Some specs say 900/1900/2100, but TrueMove H offers it (they use 850 Mhz 3G) so not sure if it is quad-band or if there are two versions?

Do you really need both AIS and TrueMove H (CAT)/DTAC?

At the moment I can access AIS 3G in my area, but would really like the option ready for when the other 3G providers do come my way .

iPad 2 supports both 850 and 900 on 3G.

  • Wi-Fi + 3G model: UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)

Modern iphones and Nokias support it as well.

4- or 5-Band 3G is standard these days and you should not buy a new device which cannot support that.

For a tablet, consider wifi-only versions and tether to your 3G phone.
