January 5, 201214 yr Is there a public swimming pool/gym in Chiang Saen of can I access one of the hotels facilities?
January 5, 201214 yr Yes ,there is a small public pool. Generally turn right at the first set of traffic lights. Follow the road until you come to a turning on the right,2/3 down the road. Unusual hours, generally not before 10.00 am & closes between 3-4 pm Cost about 20 baht, but watch there is a communal single sex changing room ,with few lockers & extremely slippy floor. There is a reasoble children's pool to the right & larger adults pool

January 6, 201214 yr Dear krobert6, Drive into Chiang Saen in the main dual carriageway from Mae Chan. Pass the shrine on the left & chedi on the right. Head for the centre. I wonder if you are correct and you take a right before the overhead traffic lights turn right. This is before there is the Sunday morning market You coulsd ask in the excellent "Sam Ying "resaurant for directions to "Wai-nam",as you are correct can't find a street name in google. Don't worry ,it does exist,As an afterthought,go early at wekends as Saturday/Sunday the busiest days Best Wishes Wiley
