Why do you need to know that? If a phone says it support 3G on the 900Mhz band the uplink frequency is a constant. There are set bands and 900Mhz is 3G Band VIII (8) with the uplink on 880 - 915 and the downlink on 925 - 960. For example TOT3G is on the 2100Mhz band which is 3G Band I (1) with the uplink on 1920–1980 (Thai Mobile's old frequency conveniently) and the downlink on 2110–2170. These never change. You can search Wikipedia for 3G Bands and see all of the assignments.

Hi and thanks for the comment , the reason I'm asking about the Up link and Down link frequencies is because I'm looking at the possibility of getting a 3G signal booster unit , and I need to stipulate the Up link and Down link frequencies, here's an example -

as you can see from above the 3G signal booster's frequency specification out lined in red [ up link 890 - 915 MHz ] and [ down link 935 - 960 MHz ] are a bit different to the [ up link 880 - 915 MHz ] and [ down link 925 - 960 MHz ] frequencies out lined in your comment , most of the 3G boosters I can currently find for sale seem to have the same [ up link 890 - 915 MHz ] and [ down link 935 - 960 MHz ] specification, so now I'm wondering if any of the 3G boosters would be suitable for the AIS 3G frequencies .
