Is that too much or correct? Many thanks.
phuketsiam Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 50 baht goes down pretty well, depends where tho
britmaveric Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Up to you what you tip - I roughly tip 50Bht/Hr.
Joey Boy Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Dont tip em <deleted> all if its not spot on, 100 if they do a good job tho Far to many of these places take employees off "the streets" and give them little or no training

Other than their word not lot you can go on.
BambinA Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 as i used to post b4 .. in TH tip is not a big deal as farangland (seem if we re in farangland tip = so-called tradition common TH people tip around 20bht but i think 20-100 bhts is ok for farangs ..when convert to USD is ~ 0.5-2.5 bucks(less than u tip for service when u re in farangland) well..depends on the service lso .. if you are too appreciate .. give him/her as much as u can deal
otherstuff1957 Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 I usually rely on my wife for these things. She usually tips 20b, so that's what I tip, unless the service is very good. Of course, if my wife tickles my foot during the massage and I accidentally kick the masseuse the tip is MUCH higher

So I guess you also tip the hairdresser?!

So I guess you also tip the hairdresser?! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I tip mine - she cuts my hair, manicure/pedicure/scaling/facial and she's a good mate . I've gone to her for years, and I love helping her out when she spends a few hrs on me. However tipping is optional - if you feel like doing it or not is entirely up to you.
