Does anyone know where to buy Isopropyl Alcohol in Pattaya?

I want to build a cloud chamber...

I can get dry ice on the sukhumvit near tesco, and the radioactive spec I can get from a smoke detector

just need the Alcholol

It is sometimes sold as Rubbing Alcohol

Freeze and remove the ice? Not sure if thats the way but it must be fairly simple to remove water from alcohol.

I built one while in high school many years ago. Quite a bit larger than that one as I used a large clear plastic cup. Mail ordered the alpha source. You can use ethyl alcohol (ethanol). I have 95% but unfortunately not in Pattaya. If there are any schools with chemistry departments you might check them out. They may give you a small amount if you tell them what you are doing - they may even want to watch.

That's a trick I used to do in Saudi to make the home brew stronger.

Saw some isopropyl alcohol in Makro yesterday, far right after you come in, on the low rows of shelves.
