Northern Haze

Featured Replies

What's the air down in Hua Hin like at the moment? Looks like us northerners are in for at least another month of this filth.

We arrived from the smoke house (as CM is now called) about 10 days ago. The air here is perfect. No issues.

Well having said that... we are staying in a nice apartment block by the beach and the local neighbors do very much love to light their trash on fire at night. TIT!

I remember reading somewhere ( but can't recall where) that Hua-Hin reputedly has some of the best air quality in Thailand. The worst air quality that we get here, is when the winds are from the NNE and this seems to bring what I would describe as a very hazy atmosphere. Just glad that I didn't settle in Chang Mai.

If you look on the Thai Met office site you will find that they give a daily report on the 'visible distance' that you can see each day along with the other stats for nearly all the different places in Thailand.
