Schweppes Tonic Or Manao Soda In Phuket?

Not manageeed to buy Schweppes Tonic Water or Manao Soda anywhere in Phuket/Phang Nga since early December. Has anyone seen any reappearing in the shops since the Bangkok floods closed the factory?

Tonic water seems to be sneaking its way back in now. Family mart at Sea Perl, Patong has some yesterday. Haven't looked today. Still nothing at suppliers though,

A bar owner told me tonic is available but expensive although he expected supplies to resume to normal next week.

Flower Foods-Big Bill's Deli has Schwepps tonic for 30B a can , about a dozen or so left!

I hope Schwepp's Thailand will be smart and with their clean-up they wake up and add Sugar free and regular Bitter Lemon to

their product line in Thailand , my personal favorite for gin or vodka mix but also its a refreshing anytime drink !

I have seen many Thai friends try this , worldwide Schwepp's Favorite Bitter Lemon , with favorable accolades!

How to make soda manao:

3/4 sprite

1/4 soda water

freshly squeezed lime (quantity depends on taste)

pinch of salt.

Very refreshing served on ice. Enjoy!
