Thailand And Jordan Sign Investment Agreement

THAILAND AND JORDAN HAVE SIGNED AGREEMENT TO JOINTLY PROMOTE INVESTMENTS BETWEEN ONE ANOTHER

Thailand and Jordan have signed an agreement to jointly promote investments between the two countries.

At 11.30 am today, Prime Minister Thaksin Shinwatra welcomed Jordanian King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein on the occasion of the king's official visit to Thailand as guest of the Thai government. The Prime Minister entered into bilateral discussions with the King of Jordan this morning, and also held a full-fledged discussion between the both countries' delegations.

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and King Abdallah the 2nd also witnessed the signing of the agreement on joint promotion of investments between Thailand and Jordan, signed by Thai Foreign Affairs Minister Kantathi Suphamongkhon (กันตธีร์ ศุภมงคล) and Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade Sharif Zu’bi. This agreement will foster economic relations between the two countries and facilitate convenience to investors from both nations. Today's signing of the agreement marked Jordan as the 39th country Thailand has such agreement with.
