Is There Monthly Movie Ticket In Bangkok

Featured Replies

I doubt it, but some of them have membership cards that save you about 20 baht off the movie tickets. The tickets are pretty cheap already, so you can see about 4 movies for the price of one anywhere else.

If you can live without the modern state-of-the art amenities have a look here (http://www.apexsiam-square.com/home.asp) the movie tickets are 100THB each. This place is not the lap of luxury and if you are above average height or girth you may find it uncomfortable. Otherwise, a very economical way to frequently watch movies. They often screen independent type films that the larger theaters do not. They are across the street from Siam Paragon and there are some interesting restaurants/coffee shops in the vicinity as well.

I would have never known. I always just head for the major cinema in siam paragon. The M-generation card is great for saving money on tickets, especially when buying 2.

Good to know that there is an indie movie theatre. Is it english or thai?

Apex Lido 1/2/3 and Scala show many films from different countries, always with Thai subs, and for non-English films, with both English and Thai subs (which can of course get a little busy on the screen, but a great option for Chinese films). You can follow the link to see films currently showing and those coming soon.

House RCA also shows foreign and 'independent' films: http://www.houserama.com/ including this year's Oscar winner for best foreign film: "A Separation".

Thumbs up for: The Ides of March, The Artist, The Descendants all currently playing at Apex and/or House.

As mentioned, loyalty cards from Major or SF yield some discounting; Wednesdays are bargain days. There are some daily passes but only at select Major theatres in a few cities outside of Bangkok.
