Does anybody know if you can apply for a settlement visa before you are actually married?

Ie, Garther all the required info and apply in January, then get married just before the interview date?

Hi Rj,

The embassy will soon be contracting out the administration of the visa section and it's not clear at this stage what will then be allowed and what won't. However, as things stand, you can submit the application and request an interview date for a time when you will be married.
