Hd Web Cam (Or?)

Featured Replies

I have a Creative webcam n10225 and my net =: jejty.jpg

My cam is really grainy and jerky. :(

Is there any way i can get better (HD?) with my net speed?

Ive read that a camcorder may be good even?

Im really clueless about what is good to go for and wish to get good value for my money (as in, dont want to end up buying something very expensive only for it to not work well with my net).

Any thoughts?

(As an aside, my microphone is utter rubbish also! Was thinking to get a wireless headset, but just not sure what my options are. Think i prefer a mic that can pick up sounds very well without me having to have it practically down my throat to be heard! :P )

Boyfriend is working away, so a decent cam would give a smile on his face..lol!

Thank you!

eek~ I use a Microsoft LifeCam Cinema (HD) with similar net stats. What worked for me was to uninstall the extra MS software that came with the webcam, leaving only the Cam driver. Big improvement! You might give that a try. Good luck!

Ty mamypoko..i actually only downloaded the driver for this cam (lost the installation disc a while back), so i dont have any extras that came with it. But the cam is not clear and quite a lot of delay. Have any idea if its the cam? Cant seem to find if my cam is HD or not..doh!

Most of the time its not the cam itself but the connection. You should try to connect with someone in Thailand to see if its the connection or the cam.
