Pattaya_Fox Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 A pocket book is a pocket sized book which can be of any subject e.g. an engineer`s pocket book, a dog lover`s pocket book, a Pattaya bar drinker`s pocket book. a Pattaya go go...... I won`t go into that one
richardb Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 (edited) A pocket book is a pocket sized book which can be of any subject e.g. an engineer`s pocket book, a dog lover`s pocket book, a Pattaya bar drinker`s pocket book. a Pattaya go go...... I won`t go into that one <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Most useful in a small cafe in Chaing Rai I was in that town a month ago. Having some spare time I thought I might visit the " entertainment area" There are mayby 4 or 5 tiny bars and three shacks mascarading as go go bars. In the interests of research I wandered in. Each of the three had one pole on which danced an Akah girl in large underware. Now I was in shorts, vest and sandles however the Akah maidens were feeling the chill so appart from the single girl in large underware swinging from a pole the rest of the girls were wrapped up in jumpers, fleeces, scarves and wooly hats. Cuddling little balls of wool and fleese is an interesting concept for a go go. I think the idea will work better in Wales. Richard Edited December 20, 2005 by richardb

CGW Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 I have a Radio Engineers pocket book...but I use it often so I am not giving that one up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I too have an Engineers Pocket REF book, by T.J. Glover - a fine author Though I dont use it, I would like to keep it as makes me feel good, and "breaks the ice" with fellow passengers when I pull it out of my pocket on airplane rides and pretend to start reading it Cheers
