Just a small question.

Do you add a coolant to the radiator in Thailand.

I ask this question because an auto-technician commented that it was a 'waste of money' to do so, watching me do it.

Thank you

The ''coolant'' has a corrosion inhibitor to stop any alloy part (cylinder head) corroding/oxidizing, an absolute must in the modern engine. cowboy.gif

What he said ^^^.

Water works fine in an emergency of course.

Must add, also important for an all cast iron engine too. I rebuilt a small block Chevy V8, changed the ''freeze'' plugs, but looking inside the block it was full of rust flakes and the corrosion was showing in the piston bores, thankfully it didn't need a re-bore, if it did it would have been scrap. So, it is important. cowboy.gif
