[Myanmar] Mobile Phones

Featured Replies

When I was in Yangon last November, my phone (with AIS SIM-card) worked sometimes. When I returned last week, I had "no service" at all times, even though I had called to AIS before my departure, and they said I should choose provider MPT (Myanmar Post and Telecom) and it should work.

Does anybody have experience with DTAC or True?

Note: My German friends were told that roaming does not exist and they should buy a local SIM card.

My True phone and my wife's AIS phone weren't working there last week. Cheers
