April 10, 201213 yr There are booths all around downtown sponsored by various banks... plus plenty of ATMS everywhere you look.
April 10, 201213 yr Author thanks for reply, but what i was looking for was a money changer, for foreign currency, with far better rates than the usual bank branches.
April 11, 201213 yr Just ask at the local police station and they'll point you in the right direction...
April 16, 201213 yr Author Just ask at the local police station and they'll point you in the right direction... very strange answer to a straight foreward question, maybe not very financial aware in hua hin to rest of los.never mind will go and look for my self.
April 17, 201213 yr I'm guessing that that "strange answer" implies that those back alley money changers you are looking for are illegal operations. Probably better to stick with the bank booths. You can get the rates from all the major banks in the following link so that you know which one is the best at any given time... http://bankexchangerates.daytodaydata.net/default.aspx
April 17, 201213 yr the ones on the soi in the centre of town where burger king is situated always seem to offer competitive rates
