Onlinegame Internetcafe 24h?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm next time again in BK (after 4 month travelling) and I try to find an online-game cafe, where I could install World of Warcraft and play a few days with my friends from germany.

I have an WOW-Account (EU-Server) and the Software, but I need an Internetcafe with at least 512 MB Ram (the most have only 256MB).

Because of time difference it should be possible to play at night.

Is there such an internetcafe in BK or somewhwere else in the south of Thailand?

I hope someone can help....

Thomas

Tiger Boy Internet Cafe, in Din Daeng, just behind the Fortune Town IT mall could maybe suit your needs. They're open about 22/7 [time enough for the servers to cool off] and run some well taken care of machines.

Owners are very helpful and accomdating, too. Easiest way there is to go to Rachada soi 3 and take the second left [ a very busy 4 way] and they'll be about 40 meters on on the left side. Storerfront is a hard to miss radiant orange.

Good internet cafes at Ramkhamhaeng, especially soi 29, many open 24 hours.

You will probably be staying at Khaosarn road, so the location is very inconvenient for you, but if you want I can check whether they have 512 MB.

If you want to see a real "World of Warcraft" hang about Soi 4 at chucking out time :o

Hi..thx for answers...I"m first time in Thailand and I still travel since middle of August..and still have time. So its maybe more understandable why I come to this idea....

But I have big problems with the adresses you posting... Soi 4 thats the number of a sidestreet? but what i tell the taxi driver?...

I stayed one time in kaoh sun road and I don"t like it very much. So I don't have to stay there.....any budget accomodation-ideas nearby the internetcafe welcomed..

and thx

I'm looking for the same thing in these locations:

Bangkok on Sukhumvit near Nana area.

Koh Samui (not likely?)

Pattaya.

I figure there should be some places that locals go with games pre-installed. Maybe not in Koh Samui, but hoping. Anyone know where I can look?

Thanks much!

Hi,

I'm now in Bangkog in the Ramkhamhaeng Soi 29 and there are really a lot of 24 h Internetcafes (and very busy!) but nowhere I can install it yet..... :D

But it's interessting here. I find accidently a kind of student apartment nearby with aircon, toilet,wc :o for 200/day and no tourist at all in this part of BK... :D

But by the way I'm, still searching my few days gaming spot for World of warcraft in BK.....

What about this SOI 4 its not on Ramkhamhaeng... or?

Thx for answering anyway

Mate...jump in a taxi and say NANA PLAZA...SOI 4...I WANT TO PLAY GAMES...

They'll understand.... :o

4 Sukhumvit is where the infamous Nana "Entertainment" Complex is--one of the girly bar malls. It's also conveniently near one of the Metro stops. There should be plenty of small internet cafes for tourists, but I don't know if you'll find any with the necessary graphics cards, processor speed, etc.

I hope you'll post back if you find something. Enjoy your stay!

Hi its me again,

after now 25 days Laos I come back to Thailand and still found no place to play wow.

In Nana the Internetcafes are very expensive Touristneppers. The cheapest one is about 60 Baht?hour and in Ramhanghaeng (bus 501 from eka..bus/skystation) only 10 Baht/h.

In Ramhanghaeng soi 29 there was one of the many Internetcafes which was willing to Install, but only had CD-player and i have only the game DVD. So if you bring the original game CDs its maybe possible....

cheapest one around Nana is the True internet cafe in the subterranean mall at Asoke BTS station, 40 B/hour, very fast (faster than Ram soi 29 and faster than anything I have seen near Nana)
