This is my first Songkran, so I'm a bit worries about the traffic through Bangkok tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon/evening.

I would like to drive my parents to Suvarnabhumi from Hua Hin. How much would the Songkran traffic affect me?

Monday is a holiday, so I would think traffic would be ok on Sunday.

I agree that Sunday should be fine for your trip to the airport. Since everyone that has to be home for the holidays is already there, you risk fewer maniac drivers on the roads. Monday afternoon and evening will be another story altogether. Not sure about truck traffic, but that should be at a minimum too. Drive safe.
