This seems to be a real treasure thebeachfrontclub.com for your searches for beach hotels/resorts in many places around the world.

Here the example of Hua Hin, how much mor detail could you wish for, realistically ?

Your title is a little misleading, if you click on compare prices it is merely aggregated content from multiple sources hotels.com/agoda etc. It is like www.bookingbuddy.com with less comparisons. They do offer a premium service for hoteliers but no mention of cost for the hotelier and will they offer something special for direct bookings vs the other high cost channels hotels currently distribute with.

It is a nice search tool to look at hotels, I for one still prefer to book direct as more and more hotels offer a "best rate Guarantee" now. I also find booking via 3rd party sites the rooms aren't as good as booking direct.

WillliaminBKK , you are right, my words are misleading. It is not about booking or price, it is about that you would want to know where exactly the beach is related to the hotel, really close by as suggested be seductive photos. Or is there a hard to cross road between hotel and beach like in Kata. Or that the amount of available beach changes very much during the tides like in Hua Hin. Is it overloaded with food stands, etc, purely qualitative comments. Every beach e.g. in Hua Hin gets different marks. Read about the photographer who took shots of hundreds of beach hotels only with one goal= to create an often fake illusion of perfection.
