1-0 to city was an OK game. Have seen better

Means that utd and city both on level points going into the last 2 games. However City have a far better goal difference hence if they win they're next 2 games it is virtually impossible (bar utd winning both games something ridiculous like 7-0 each) for utd to finish on top and as most are predicting if city win the title if could mean a turning of the time for English football and could start a new era of dominance.

So who won ... and did the game live up to the Hype?

I'm an Aussie, hence the question

As an Aussie, would you understand the answer ? smile.png

It wasn't that great IMO. Ferguson put out a negative line-up that appeared to be designed to play for a draw. Man City looked better in all departments and shepherded Rooney well. Giggs was ineffectual and Scholes off the pace (even though his return from retirement has been a valuable contribution for United).

I would like to have seen Welbeck and even Berbatov or Hernandez start with a clear message that United were going out to win. It may have been like 2 prize fighters slugging it out but I think a more positive approach would have been better.

I still fancy Newcastle to piss on Man City's chips though.

Thanks to ruddy2000 for the reply.

Also to cardholder. BTW, I used to live in London for some years and up the road form the old Arsenal Football ground and appreciate a good game of what you Poms call 'football'.

Plus I know how nuts the Thais are about the English PL, so nice to appear a little knowledgeable when they ask me about the big game this year, because being a QLD'er in Australia, I would naturally assume they (the Thais) meant the deciding Rugby League State of Origin match!
