Does anyone know is there difference in the pricing when come to buy different color of the car? I heard white color in Thailand is cost higher. Is it the same in new car?

Most new cars use a pearl white color that is much more expensive to make.

I have notice a 7000 - 20,000 Baht extra charge depending on model

But I also note it is the biggest seller with longer waiting times to get one

Cars come in a whole range of colors. Black; silver; white; red; blue; etc, etc.

My current (new) car is white. The price I paid was the same as for any other color.

When you buy a Vigo, they will give you 5000 baht discount for the white color...but it's not a pearl white, just simple white...

It's simple supply and demand and varies from model to model, year to year. There isn't an appreciable difference in the mfg cost at the factory, but they can't predict with perfect accuracy and end up having too many of some color and not enough of others, and that affects the pricing.

When I was looking at SUV's and pick-ups a few months back, virtually every manufacturer charged an extra 20K for pearl white, which I subsequently paid for my Mitzu Triton.

Has anyone test driven the new 2012 Nissan Almera. It looks like a good runner and specs look good too. Anyone know the waiting time. I,m out of the country for a few month but am in the market for a new small car when I return .

It was at one stage quoted as 15,000 baht extra for the Pearl White for the Mitsu PJS and I believe the same applied for the She-RV (CRV). Not sure if that is still the case.
