Anyone know if extensions can be gotten on Tourist 30 Arrival Visa's?

The type issued on airport arrival and not pre-issued by embassy.

Is this type of tourist visa extendable by normal visa runs such as into Cambodia for a 30 day extension, and if so how many extensions.

Any comments appreciated.

It can normally be extended at an immigration office inside Thailand for 10 days with a fee of 1,900 baht paid.

It can not be extended by crossing borders. But you could receive another 30 day entry without visa stamp if you get Cambodian visa/cross over/get stamped in/out of Cambodia and return. There is currently no set limit but immigration can, as always, use their own judgment if they feel you are a threat or involved in illegal activities.

thats right - just got 10 days extn in Bangkok immig office took 10 mins - passport, copy of tourist visa page and picture plus fee 1900 baht - easy. Thats it though next trip must be out of country.
