Energy Power Saver © Thailand

Featured Replies

I have heard about this device called "Boondee Energy Power Saver", but never met anyone who had used it.

It is supposed to save you money by reducing your electricity consumption. Can anyone please enlighten us on this please? Is it really possible?

With humans it's possible to use placebo effect, hence homeopathy, but with electricity - no.

In _theory_, what I understood, there is an _possibility_ to 'save in powerbill' with an real device, but not in practical level and likely with the device you were referring.

My suggestion for anyone who is thinking about to buy these devices: Read this article about power savers and power factor and understand it fully. If after that one wishes to buy one of these devices.. by all means, just do that.

Thanks for posting that article oilinki - I was interested in point 8;

"Power factor correction is real technology that's simply been hijacked, used in a manner for which it was never intended, cut down, cheapened and lied about. It's probably a fairly easy sell too, because very few people know enough about electricity and distribution systems."

I fall into that category and it's helpful to have that picture of a genuine professional unit to compare with the Boondee systems.

Cheers
