New Telephone Lines For Village

Featured Replies

Hi any of you guys living in a village that has this type of set up any idea of what you paid per meter

They have set up a satallite dish in the pooyai bans home and have said that they are selling 22 telephone lines 2000bht each. So of course I brought one and now they want 14000 bht to run the cable to my home about 300 meters down the road. OK not much money but it is a bit more than every one expected to pay.

They are all getting together and going down to the telephone company and asking why so expensive

Also has anyone have any idea of how fast of a conection I will get using the internet

If its just a regular phone line (and not a video cable) then you might suggest that you can do it yourself. Around here we move phone lines from one house to another by ourselves. My phone line used to be at another house about 200 metres away and we just bought some cable and strung it up. The phone company knows about this and seems to have no problem with it.
