This is a lovely thread. Thank you OP. I would like to add to this. I have been married to my wife for 3 years now, been together for 8 years and have known each other for 25 years. Recently she has given my the brightest light in my life, my little daughter, and she is the major bread-winner. We fight sometimes, but I doubt I would find a better partner in my lifetime.

I post this here because it fits so well and because the ethnicity of my partner does get a fair amount of knocking of TV too so I wanted to speak up. My wife is English, but I really feel that she is as great as all your lovely Thai wives and therefore deserves mention here. I know it is a tiny bit off topic, but I'm pretty sure that, being that this is a kind natured and mature thread, people will understand my reasoning and be happy for me too.

For me, one of the attributes that makes me remember how lucky I am is how she manages to give so much of herself to her Family yes still has a smile and time for me ...

Doesn't sound much ... but, for the moment we live half a world away.

There I was today looking out over an azure sea, having lunch, enjoying the quaintness of the fishing village, and I realised I love her more and more with each day that passes...absence certainly hasn't dimmed things for us.

AH, smokie36, a true romantic, on holiday with the dearly beloved.

No more duck hunting or profanities ... just a man at peace with himself.

The right lady can have a prolific effect on a Man.
