Tot Kanchanaburi

Featured Replies

can anyone tell me how long it takes to get the internet from tot in kanchanaburi, and how much per month

I live in Kanchanaburi and would advise you to be very careful before signing up with TOT.

Try and check with your neighbours first to see how the quality of their connection is.

In town it is not too bad but outside performance can be extremely erratic.

Along the main highways where the cables have a better chance of being maintained speeds and reliability can be very good too.

I gave up in the end as the connection in our village was appalling and now access through AIS and edge.

AIS are promising 3g in Kanchanaburi sometime later this year.

I use "true move 3G (aircard)" in Kan and around Thailand. Slow now and again, but OK, as I use it on me lap-top, works for me. Sould also work on any computer with USB port. Price per month, choose your own package.

At least no one will put more cables in your place.

We have been using 3BB adsl (felephone line) for 6 years in Kanchanaburi.

8M down 0.8M up which is okey (we pay for 9M/1M).

But after our router die and 3BB gave us new "SmartAX 880 MT" routher

we now only have 3M down 512 Kb Up.

3BB tell us "Bad luck"

(Mayby they want a bride)

Can anybody recommend other Internet provider, since 3M/1M is to slow for out internet game shop :-(
