Does anybody know of a place to buy single lense prescription glasses in or around Pattaya. Also does anybody know about how much they would cost ?

There are lots of places selling prescription eyeglasses, hard to avoid them. On Pattaya 2nd road near the Lek Hotel, in the new Big C Mall, in the Royal Garden Mall, Carrefour and Lotus also.

On Soi Buakhaw not far from the intersection from with Soi Honey Inn is another place. Lots of places on Central too! Lots and lots and lots of shops (most of them with pretty girls milling around.)

I pass by these places pretty often but I have only used them for tinting/dyeing my old clear glasses to make them into sunglasses (300 baht.) Just a guess, I would figure around 4000 baht for what you want.

Try big C pattaya thai ( south pattaya road ) about 1,200 baht , ready in 30 mins ,

You can also buy rimless reading glasses in Big C (upstairs) 2nd Rd at 199 baht.....infact I`m using a pair now.

Thanks for the replies. I will defineatly check them out. It sounds like I could save over $100.00 if I buy them in Thailand.
