Yep - two friendlies mostly for the other teams too. Not thinking straight.

The horse whisperers will be out in force trying to persuade international team managers to go gently. Arsene is probably the leader of the pack nowadays (but is SAF taking any extra-curricular involvement these days one wonderssmile.png )

You better believe it, Mr Ferguson is very hands on and probably has been for a little while now!

Really Carmine!

Seen as you have inside knowledge of what goes on inside the United regime i would love to know were you found this out or what input level he is involved at!! rolleyes.gif

I want hold my breath mate.....as per usual you just make statements without any factual base.

Everybody knows he is on the board now and i am sure that is where his advice stops unless you know different whistling.gif

Sad post from you though as now it seems that David Moyes is starting to get the players performing for him a little better....you and the other ABU's come out with this little gem clap2.gifIt is not Moyes it is Ferguson! embarrassing mate again biggrin.png

It is only November remember remember.cheesy.gif

United played the game, wasn't pretty by any means but, there it is. Don't make it something it isn't, it's November, good win, great atmosphere, on to the next game.

Wayne Rooney reckons United will be top come January.

There are two games against Spurs before then, which should be interesting.

From Robbie Savage:

Against the Gunners, Manchester United had the least possession (39.87%) and worst passing accuracy (75.87) of any of their Premier League games this season.

United also played their lowest number of passes (344) in any league game at Old Trafford for seven years, since a draw with Chelsea in a top-of-the-table clash in November 2006, when they played 310.

They played over 200 more passes (532) when they last played Arsenal at home in the league, in a 2-1 win in November 2012.

In fact, there have only been seven away league games since the start of the 2006-07 season where United have played fewer passes than they managed on Sunday.

You wouldn't think you could win a match against many teams with those stats, Arsenal really had a crap day wink.png

I think the stats changed massively after we scored where as we sat back and let them have the ball playing it from side to side with absolutely no penetration allowed in the middle of the area.

The only real two good chances they had where from Sagna's two crosses which at least should have had a body on the end of.

United basically played them on the break in the second half and containment ....it was the correct tactic as it was a very important game for three points.

Well done to David Moyes.

Yep I have admit it looks like things are moving in the right direction and considering the pressure to win that match it was a cool, calm, clinical performance and when you look at those stats overall, a tactical win

You should know how it is possible to win a game with those sorts of stats. You managed it against us.

Not sure of the pass accuracy, but not far off on possession, fair call

Whilst yesterday was a real fillip for your team I thought you won it by excellent shape and performance at the back, forcing Arsenal to repeatedly play along the line. I still don't think your midfield is good enough to get you the title.

Not sour grapes - I have never been in the "Man U are sunk" brigade and I have repeatedly said or implied that I don't think Arsenal have the depth to win the title (and incidentally I don't think Wenger is realistic enough about that to fix it sufficiently thoroughly in the transfer window).

I think Moyes may be realistic enough to recognise that Fellaini was just a last ditch elastoplast job and not the answer to your midfield issue.

You sadly underestimate(and many others on here)David Moyes,s ability-if he felt Fellaini was,nt good enough he would,nt have signed him full stop-when anyone joins United it is a huge step-up,no matter what club they come from, give him time.

You forgot to add one important stat we scored a goal, goals win games, it's a good sign we can grind out a win like that. also Ozil went missing mainly because Jones had him in his pocket.

Oh Jayroo, how I've missed you,

Your insight, so thoughtful,

Your knowledge, so broad,

We're all just in awe,

Of your wit........, so raw,

Though others try,

They won't understand you,

They call you names,

And with a hand they dismiss you,

And how I should have listened,

They were all fuc_kin right.........
