Ive heard that it opened then it closed. Is it currently open?

Im planning to travel from either Hua Lumpong or Victory monument to the airport at about 7 oclock this evening. Can anyone recommend the best way to get there, how much it will cost and what time the last/first train is?

Thanks guys

You heard wrong.

There is an Airport Link thread, you only had to look down half a page and all the info you need is there, http://www.thaivisa....25#entry5348892 or even look at another thread from a last week which also has all the info you need, http://www.thaivisa....taxi-to-suk-18/

The ARL website has timetables and cost info in english, http://airportrailli...ilway.co.th/en/

Difficult to recommend how best to get to the ARL when you didn't state where you are coming from but get to VM take the BTS 1 station south to Phayathai where you can interchange with the ARL.

Your luggage is also imprtant. With a lot of luggage the rail link is not a good option and a taxi probably the best.

Thanks but its just to say goodbye to someone so only have a small backpack with me.

Are there shuttle buses from Don Mueng?

thanks

Im coming from Lopburi, is this the best way do you think to get to Swampy?

- If you are coming from Lopburi via van to VM then it is easy. The Lopburi van ends under the expressway on the north side of VM, you just walk to the south side where the BTS station is located.

- If you are coming via bus to Mo Chit 2 then there are a number of buses to VM or to the Mo Chit BTS station, #77 air con (orange) is a good bet for both. There are also mini vans from Mo Chit to the airport last time I was there (2011).

- From Don Meaung, you can catch either the 555 bus or the 555 mini van. Both run south along Vihavadi to Din Daeng then get on the expressway a little further up. (or you could take a bus to Mo Chit BTS, then ARL it). The 554 is also possible if it is still running - it goes Ram Inthra then eastern expressway to airport. Both to the Transport terminal then take a shuttle bus.

- If you are coming via helicopter stolen from the Lopburi Army Base then proceed direct to the airport.
