Just five competitors from Burma will take part in the London Olympic Games beginning on July 27, its state press announced. The Burmese athletes will participate in archery, rowing, shooting, and track and field events. Thet Zaw Win will compete in the men’s 400-m race, while Nilar San represents her country in the women’s marathon.

The archer from Myanmar, Aung Nay Myo, returned last week to his home country after training for a month at the Bangkok Training Center at Hua Mark Sports Complex.

He is a very good archer and I wish him all the best in his Olympic journey.
