I understand that the ground coffee sold in Thailand/Pattaya is not as good as the coffee that is available here in the USA. I'm a bit surprised to hear that Starbuck's apparently sells different varieties there than those sold here.

So, I plan to buy several pounds of beans here of my favorite blends. I like the "BOLD" varieties like Sumatra, French Roast, etc. I'll buy beans because, of course, they remain fresh much longer than ground coffee.

However, I'll need to buy a coffee grinder there. Can somebody point me in the right direction for a source for a good, durable coffee grinder somewhere in Pattaya?

Two places:-

1) Heading towards Naklua, about three quarters of a mile on the east side of Pattaya - Naklua Road.

2) On the east side of the Sukhumvit Road, on the soi running beside "Heaven Entertainment/Restaurant Centre". The shop is next to a wine wholesale business.

I think the Index Living store on Sukhumwit a bit north of Pattaya Klang sells grinders.

Have you tried Peet's coffee? Their famous Major Dickasons blend sounds right up your alley and you can buy online from peets.com.

Thanks, guys! I LOVE this forum. Ask and ye shall receive.

Thaiquila, have you had any coffee delivered there by Peet's? I know that mail service isn't always the best and most dependable/secure there.

Tops Supermarket 2nd road/Central road, inside there is a coffee bar on the left which has a range of coffee grinders for sale. They are displayed on the counter. :o
