Hi all. I just wanted you to know a few things about Canada immigration for wife and or children(Thais)and compare it to some other countries for Thais immigrating there.

PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM MISSINFORMED. Welcome comments.

As to having children abroad to other than Canadian they are automatic Canadian citizens..You need to apply for a citizenship card that takes about 8 months. But if you want to bring your child home before you get the citizenship all you need to do is go to the embassy and get the required child passport papers then go back with your (MY) birthcertificate (Canadian) and my childs from Thailand(Translated) and a copy of your airplane ticket and it will take about 5 days to get there passport.

Now as for Australia and other countries your child is not an automatic citizen of your country. I am not sure about America.

As to her visa to come here Canada DOES NOT HAVE A FIANCE VISA.. Aus,USA,ENG do have from what I understand.

BIGGEST PROBLEM I HAVE INCOUNTERED WITH THE DIFFERENT COUNTRIES IS NOT THE REQUIREMENTS OF THAT COUNTRY IT IS THE PERSON APPLYING

Example: I went to a professional company to have documents translated,,,they told me what I needed WRONG, this was the third company (THEY ALL KNOW WHAT YOU NEED THESE COMPANIES ,,,,NOT) we had went to I left there and also left my wife there also. I was done talking about it.. No body would listen to me...so finally she came to see me in the coffee shop and she said what is wrong, she was upset with me. So I sat her down and showed her (2ndtime) the papers I got from the embassy as to what we needed there is about 12 in all. Even the pictures for her visa, immigration and my child and quanity of each are not the same pictures they are different sizes and exposures. Mind you the photo shop said to her they were all the same(NOT)

The moral of this story is that every country is different in regards to photos, immigration and visa requirements some things are simillar though. Go to your Embassy or there web site and get specific instructions for the region.

And the biggest problem is people listen to others and dont get the required or not required information. And it slows the process down.

Some thing that Thais dont know from what I understand, is that most of the western countries talk to each other and the reason it takes time to get visas and immigration papers is sometimes they are waiting for a response from the other countries if they have anything on that person.

My wife had a friend that was denied her fiance visa for the US and I asked her if she had any problems before in another country, and she told me she was in England before (6 months) and left reason unknown.

And I guess the US immigration found out something and denied her.

Remember that if your G/F wife is denied there is a good reason look in to there past and get the truth.

Welcome opinions please. Or any other info welcome or if you have any stories to tell
