Where To Get Specific (Unusual) Supplements?

Featured Replies

Im looking for a few things in particular;

Milk Thistle

Rhodiola

Ashwagandha

Astragalus

Schizandra

Eleuthero

It's a shot in the dark, but does anyone know where I can find any of these in Bangkok???

Thanks!

I believe I have seen milk thistle around and I have heard many TV members use it, you might try a search for it in this forum and also the "Drink too much" subforum to see if any mention where they got it.

The others, I haven't seen or heard of.

There are a huge number of Thai herbal products on the market and it is quite likely that some of them equate to supplements used in the west. Unfortunately all labelling etc is in Thai as is all the literature I've seen.

buying supplements is difficult, imo... some pharmacies in big shopping centers have them, boots some too...

and if anything is available, then mostly in unpopular combinations of vitamins and/or dosages (much too high or too low)... its very limited and VERY expensive...

best to order online from the US...

Milk Thistle and Rhodiola i have also seen, could have been "blackmores". but pure rhodiola is not easy to find anyway,

its often found in the bodybuilder stuff..

Ashwagandha - is a very popular indian plant, and indian shops might carry it

Schizandra - popular chinese plant, possibly in chinese shops...

Eleuthero, Astragalus? - very special imo, not seen

Ive made post in the past about a particular website that will ship in. Many forum members are currently useing it for protein and vitamins, but I cannot post the site cause im apparently advertising. So if you want it can PM.
