Also this morning, I visited Phu Phra Wat, in Chayapum.

What intrigued me is that the grounds where full of signs, written in English and Thai

Some made sense, some not.

Wat Tham Khao Chakan is a classic Buddhist monastery located in Khao Chakan Sub-district, Sa Kaeo.

About 500 steps to climb.

Before going up there is a platform where a monk is watching you.

At last, reached the top exhausted......the view of the Sa Kaeo landscape is beautiful.

Going out....the place is full of monkeys.

Headed down to take in the Ratchadamnoen Road light show. Happened, for the first time, to catch Wat Ratchanatda without it wrapped in scaffolding and tarps.

Same kind of weather on Samui this morning, at Wat Lamai, Samui,

Doi Suthep from my university location. Olympus EM-1 Olympus 40-150mm (80-300mm 35mm FOV) f/2.8 Pro lens. A few things to consider: The Wat is 3.6km from where I was shooting. A lot of haze due to being Chiang Mai and the distance. Tried using haze removal techniques in Photoshop (1st photo jpg from the camera) but the haze was all encompassing so no real color point of reference. Didn't have LR at the office so tried to process the RAW with LR 5.3 after I got home. Below straight from camera, 2nd photo LR developed. Pleasantly surprised how much detail I could get out of the RAW file.

BTW, the photo was not cropped, size straight from the camera.

--Great you showed the power of RAW, Tywais. It's not easy to process, though. It takes a lot(years) of experience and practise.
