Speed Camera Revenge

Featured Replies

Four youths from Canberra, Australia pulled off a trick of breathtaking

bravado in order to gain revenge on a mobile speed camera van operating in

the area.

Three of the group approached the van and distracted the

operator's attention by asking a series of questions about how the equipment

worked and how many cars the operator could catch in a day. Meanwhile, the

fourth musketeer sneaked to the front of the van and unscrewed its number

plate.

After bidding the van operator goodbye, the friends returned home,

fixed the number plate to their car and drove through the camera's radar at

high speed - 17 times. As a result, the automated billing system issued 17

speeding tickets to itself.

Go Aussies!!

but why stop at 17??? or are they still driving around? :o

There's nothing better to do in Canberra.

A mate of mine saw a speed camera set up.....went home and took the number plates off his car and then constantly sped past the van, setting off the camera each time...Stupid Prck had his car for sale and a bloody great big sign on the rear window with his mobile telephone number displayed :o

I went there mid week once...it was closed for repairs. Who has got the pub there now Tiz ?

I spent one day there in 1981. Longest 24 hours of my life.

Since we are on the subject, take a look at THIS link and see how the West Aussie cops regard their speed cameras :o

Ah Canberra, that boring rural city which is an annoyance and a slow-down on yourr trip from Sydney to the snow.

you can avoid it if you are on your way to the snow there is a back way :o

Any place on earth that boasts an abundance of politicians should be avoided at all costs.

Yer mate in Brisbane looks like romping it in Bronco. . :o

Bronco;

True you can avoid Canberra on the way, but sometimes there are a few kangaroo's (Jing-Jo's) particularly after the bush-fires and the feedis a bit scarse...

The only up side is going to Fishwyck to buy illegal fire-works - no guys not the La Monk movies... :o

I used to live in Queenbeyan and our office was in Fyshwick Mat, good place for videos :o
