Hyper-Pigmentation In My Forehead

Featured Replies

Dear All,

I have hyper-pigmentation in my forehead. I think it is sun burn because I used to play a lot in strong day light when I was kid. Other part of my face is ok. Only the two sides of my forehead which is about 5cm diameter.

Please suggest me any remedy you know. Searching in web says, lemon is good for hyper pigmentation but its been months I am using it and I don't see any change.

(P.S. I have attached the picture of my forehead.)

Regards,

Hydroquinone ointments are effective if it is just hyperpigmentation, but need a prescription, and seeing a dermatologist is in an event a good idea as this could be a number of other things, I can't make out anything form the photo.

If the doc thinks hydroquinone is OK, it will need several months of application.

Hi Sheryl,

I found from a quick google that hydroquinone has many negative effects and has already been banned in Japan, Australia and EU. Though this medicine can only be used with the prescription of a medical practitioner, I think its better to stick with natural or herbal products.

Apart from lemon, if you have any other suggestion that I can use, please suggest.

Thanks..
