PM ADMITS ERADICATING CORRUPTION IS HARD TO IMPLEMENT

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has admitted that eradicating corruption is a difficult task to implement as the problem is complicated and takes considerable time.

The premier will lead his government and officials to launch a war on corruption. He said that he has already designated teams such as news team and investigation team to handle the problem. The teams will help him seek information and witnesses of corruption. Then, they will send all facts to the National Counter Corruption Commission (NCCC) where the premier and his Secretary-General, Dr. PROMMIN LERTSURIDEJ (พรหมินทร์ เลิศสุริย์เดช), are in charge of setting strategies to deal with complicated frauds.

Moreover, Dr. Thaksin has assigned the Finance Ministry to curb briberies in the Customs Department.

The premier said that the government will take care of the matter. He said that the government is ready to receive any news about corruption through the government’s websites.

It happened in the 70s, he was appearing at Vegas on the same bill as Elvis Presley. Elvis was showing him the badge he got from someone in the Whitehouse that said that he was an honourary member of the DEA. Tom Jones asked him when he would be arresting himself. Tom Jones never saw Elvis again...
