How Is Mobi

Featured Replies

hi mobi its a few weeks since your valve replacement how are you feeling.

I am flattered by your concern, but with all due respect, I think my medical problems have probably been 'done to death' in this forum.

There must be more interesting subjects to discuss than Mobi's ongoing recovery.

For the record, I am progressing well and can now manage a 40 minute, reasonably brisk walk of an evening around the lake. I still have some pain, especially when I wake in the mornings, but I guess that will take a while to go, as the rib cage continues to mend.

My BP is still quite high, but the surgeon doesn't seem too bothered about it, and my own research tells me that it can take several months for the heart to settle down after its unnatural 'invasion' and the insertion of an alien piece of machinery in its midst.

I won't bother to post any more updates, unless I take a turn for the worse, but you can always follow my progress on my blog.

Anyway, I appreciate the concern,

Mobi
