oldmajor Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Hello All, My wife has recently bought some land in Dan Khun Thot, not too far from Korat. There is a chance in the next couple of years that we may build a house there. Is anybody familiar with this area? If we did move there, it would be for peace and quiet but would be happy if there was a local watering hole or somewhere to go to speak a little English. We currently live in BKK. Thank you

oldmajor Posted July 7, 2012 Author Posted July 7, 2012 Hi Russell, It looks as though we are working on a similar time with you moving there and me building. When we get nearer the time I will PM you.
aussieruss Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 sounds good to me ps did you get afarm or house block regards russell
oldmajor Posted July 8, 2012 Author Posted July 8, 2012 We have 5 rai roadside for the prospective house and veggy garden etc but it backs onto more farm land that would be available at a reasonable price. I have always been into farming and owned tractors etc back in the UK when I was a boy. I would certainly be interested in picking up more land for a small holding type deal, but I'll see how the initial building project pans out first. Hopefully, I wouldn't have to rely on the profits but it would be a great hobby Matt

So our pigfarm is about 15 km from yours (seem to remember from the farming forum that you have cows?) Are the onlaws running the farm? Sent from my GT-S6102 using Thaivisa Connect App
