Good School With English Lessons - Nong Bua

Featured Replies

Does anyone know of a decent school in the Na Klang area of Nong Bua Lamphu, or even Nong Bua itself? Preferably one that includes lessons in English, but that's not a deal breaker.

I'm concerned that my gf's daughter isn't getting a decent schooling at the local temple school and want to look at other options.

Also, any idea what general level of reading/writing a 7 yr old should be at in Thailand? Maybe I'm overly concerned that her reading and writing isn't as good I'd expect but, as I've never had my own kids I'm not sure and I'd expect standards to be lower in LoS than in "farangland".

There is a school in Nong Bua Lamphu that my wife pointed out to me as being an "International" school. I know where it is but nothing else about it.

There are none that I am aware of in our area...and you are right. The educational system around here is nothing like we would expect.

There is a private school in the town , 2 terms per year 6,000 bht per term, I think they may have english lessons.

Get you're g/f to tel 085 0022292 and inquire, if they don't have English lessons, maybe they know of a school that does.

Thanks for the replies guys. Forgot I'd posted this. I'll get the gf to give that number a call.
