Fedex Dhl Etc. To Loei?

Featured Replies

Has anyone had any good or bad experiences using FedEx etc. to Loei? I have to send an item from the states that absolutely needs to be there and would appreciate any recommendations.

Thanks!

I would not use DHL in Thialand. I sent goods from Australia through them and never again.

ripstanley: could you explain why?

DHL ist THE logistics company that serves all over Thailand.

PattayaXPat: is the item due to customs payment?

Had Moto GP tickets delivered from Malasia to my home in Loei last year, no problem what so ever, and the passport renewals go via DHL to Hongkong and back without problem, so personally I ave not heard of any problems with DHL, if any customs duty to pay don't use any courier as they rip you off!!

I've used UPS several items to send items from the US to Roi Et. Never had a problem. All of these companies (DHL, FedEx, UPS) sub-contract drivers to make the upcountry deliveries... our driver usually comes from Khon Kaen.

I've also sent items visa the US Postal Service... both Priority Mail International Flat Rate and Express Mail International Flat Rate (5 days delivery). Thailand Post then handles the delivery to your house as an EMS delivery.

I prefer the US Postal Service... it's more economical and they know the location of my house very well.
