Very interesting post. Thank you for posting it and sharing with us such an intimate problem. I guess it's something we chaps must all face at some stage as we get older.

I just did a search and this came up at the top:

I guess that there is always one who has to spoil it for everyone else, although it looks like a massage parlour rather than the type of clinic that the OP visited. Excuse my innocence, I'm not very experienced in these sorts of things.

Anyway, there is a link at the bottom (no pun intended) which leads to a page on how to do it yourself. It also has a YouTube video which I unable to watch. If it's on YouTube, it should be ok.

As this is intended for chaps, I'm not sure it's appropriate for chapesses or chapess monitors to look at. Not trying to be sexist, but I don't wanted to get my chestnuts roasted for posting things they might find offensive.

I would be interested to know long the OP's session lasted and whether it's just a single go or whether they want him to attend 3 or 4 more. Also, how much personal background info do they require?

Greetings from over the Silver Sea

Please those who are trying to hijack this thread into jokes and/or pron, desist. There is a serious medical issue involved.

Prostate massage has been around as a long time as a means of getting symptomatic relief in chronic prostatitis. It has been hypothesized that the effects are due wither to release of backed up fluids or relaxation of muscles around the prostate or both. There is no evidence it will reduce the size of a prostate enlarged by benign hyperplasia, but enlargement related to inflammation (prostatitis) might respond, and it is possible that some temporary relief of the urinary blockage due to BPH might occur as a result of relaxing the muscles around the gland (there are some medications used in BPH that take the same approach).

Good for you ! But you have'nt told us what the "Sweet Lady in Pattaya " did to cure you .

I'm waiting to hear as well, I suffer from enlarged prostate as well.

I have the same problem as yours, de doctor in Belgium told me to try with one capsul in the morning of PROSTA-URGENIN its made of 320 mg lipofiel extract from Serenoa repens it is a sort of fruit extract, I take this already for som year with no problems, it is manufactured by MADAUS not availabel in Thailand but can be ordered by Email in belgium GAVERAPOTHEEK.

hopes it help for you

Posted (edited)

the belgium medication is saw palmetto? widely available as a herb, too...

saw palmetto is said to be "somewhat" helpful for prostrate/as an alpha blocker...

im no prostate expert, but in general everything alpha-blocker is used for prostrate problems... e.g. yohimbe...

and then there was some other herb, which had THOUSANDS of raving reviews (never seen anything like that before) - but strangely the supplement was taken off the market, without giving an explanation... google showed, that an israeli company is filing a patent on it (for treating prostrate)...

opuntia (nopal cactee) - the FLOWER of it... (not the root, not the leaf, not sure about the buds)...

seems to be the most effective natural prostrate treatment... its an alpha-blocker...

viagra is also an alpha-blocker... alpha blockers can reveal (hidden) heart diseases...

not all alpha-/beta-blockers are the same, they act on different receptors... their success is depended on which receptors they (mostly) act, to what extend, etc etc.. dont know/understand that really...

It is important to understand that not all prostate problems are the same.

Prostatitis is different from BPH and both are obviously different from prostate cancer. (For that matter, acute and chronic prostatitis differ, and prostate cancers vary greatly in how aggressive they are).

So some care needs to be used in following the advice of others just because they also had a "prostate problem'. They may have had an altogether different condition.

Start with a thorough medical diagnosis, then do your homework on treatment options specific to your particular problem.

Saw palmetto is certainly an option of the condition is BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy). Not for prostatitis nor for prostate cancer -- may not do any direct harm in those condition but unlikely to help, and harmful if it causes a delay in seeking appropriate care.

Maybe Bangkokheat wishes to protect the lady's ID, The fact is prostrate reduction massage is available in Thailand. I suffer from Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BHP). BPH is a common problem in men of a certain age, though can occur from your forties onward. I am 72 years old. When BHP first blighted my life I was 68 years old. BHP is an enlarged prostrate gland. It can be caused by aging or excess testosterone, Either of which can cause the inter cellular spaces of the prostrate gland to accumulate excess fluid and to swell, resulting in restricted urine flow, straining to urinate and even Erectile Dysfunction. There are five common methods of correction. 1. Take the herb 'Saw Pimento' twice daily (capsules available at any good pharmacy). 2. Have your prostrate gland milked by an old school Thai masseuse. 3. Take 0.4mg of Tamsulosin every morning, 4. Get a urologist to section your prostrate surgically to physically reduce its size. Personally I recommend the traditional method of massage because it is safe, a positive result can be achieved on the first treatment, and apart from maybe a little embarrassment the process is pleasurable. 5. Buy yourself a Prostrate Milking tool, look for an instructional video on the NET and milk yourself. First get a Prostrate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test from a Thai Government clinic. If the test result is less than PSA =5 look for your masseuse. If it is over PSA = 5 make an appointment with your urologist. The Best way to find your therapist (masseuse) is to visit a large and well established Chinese Thai massage shop, ask for the owner and explain that you have BHP and wish to have it reduced by massage. It will cost between 500 and 1,000 Baht including tip. I am not a Doctor. My advice is based on my personal experience of this problem here in Pattaya.

Certainly sounds interesting - I assume this is the place:

http://www.pattayaprostatemassage.com/

No actually I didn't mean this place. It's a very new clinic and I had not got around to checking out yet. I have reservations because it is clearly not of the Traditional type of Thai BPH service. All plate glass window and posh sign writing, However thank you very much I will try it myself at some point. Please make sure the guy that asked the question sees this web address.

Prostate massage has a place in treating prostate infections medically and is often used in conjunction with antibiotic therapy if indicated. Prostate infections are notoriously difficult to clear with antibiotics along and often requires very long courses. Massaging the prostate is accepted adjunctive therapy and may speed up recovery significantly especially in enlarged prostates where the natural blood flow is restricted.

I suffer from urine retention due to BPH, and I have been seeing what is said to be the best urologist in Thailand for quite a few months. With no improvement, I read this thread and thought I have nothing to lose, so off I go to Theprasit Soi 8 for my appointment. I explain my problem and all the lady shows me are the different massages which seem to all end with "milking" or masturbation in my language except for one which is "prostate massage for health" as I mention I do not have erectile dysfunction and my sex life is quite normal. Without being too graphic, the prostate massage starts, I am then asked to turn over and the "milking" starts. This had nothing to do with my problem and as per the lady's menu, the prostate massage is only for erectile dysfunction. When the prostate is stimulated, it seems to help have an erection which is followed by the "milking".

I do not want to judge the massage on one visit but my view is the lady in question charges 3 or 4 times as much for "milking" than most massage parlours in Pattaya and is, I think in her own way as sexually frustrated as her "patients".

Some incorrect info here, BHP isn'r caused by to much testosterone but DHT which competets for the same receptor sights as testosterone. We produce DHT and as we age testosterone is converted to DHT this conversion usually increases as we age explaining why most BHP occurs after age 40.. Body signs of a man with large amounts of DHT hairy body, and bald as the DHT causes inflamation in the hair foliciles. Propecia is used to treat baldness and finisteride treats BHP. Since propecia is about looks it is more expensive than finisteride. If you do have a high PSA becarefull with treatment as there have been new studies released recently talking about unnecessary treatment of prostate when the only marker was a high PSA result.I had blood test in Chiang mai in June my PSA was 10 by taking a regiman of finisteride 1milgram every other day, liquid zinc, and saw palmentto. My follow up test has me below 3 on the PSA. My testosterone levels are up but they forgot to take a DHT test will need to do that on monday.Do your own research guys there is lots of info on the web just because he has MD after his name doesn't mean he or she knows what they are doing nor the latest treatment for many common problems. I think I might be developing a waterworks problem, and as I'm over 50 I guess it figures. I've trawled the net, but can't see any info. that is specific to my symptoms, how does one know?

My symptoms periodic tingling in the old man, ticklish feeling up the tubes, always feeling like I need to pee. I don't think there is a blockage, fast stream and no blockage.

I am taking antibiotics (cypro) and problem completely alleviated today.

These are symptoms commonly associated with a urinary tract infection or prostatitis.

Best to have a urine test done as a course of antibiotics required to treat prostatitis may be 2 weeks or longer.

Traces of blood and protein in the urine may indicate an infection.

I have taken saw palmetto for some time but it provided no improvement, I have also taken a combination of Saw Palmetto, and Pygeum Africanum for some time but also no improvement, if saw palmetto did help you then you are an exception, and good luck.

The label on the box states that the prostate product has received no improvement from the FDA because there has been no positive researches at all, as a result some health stores have stopped selling it.

Ewwwww @ milking....sounds like a 1200 baht masturbation service.... If I'm going to pay that much she better be Hot Hot Hot

When I started reading this thread I thought "may be there's hope". After reading this thread with all this "milking" I think I'll stick with Uroxatral..Little bit expensive but well worth it. I've also tried Saw Palmetto and all other natural herbs, none works as good as Uroxatral....
