jerrysteve Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 I hardly think the Constitution Court or its El Presidente needs any help from the Pheu Thai Mps in being insulted. They seem to be able to do that themselves all on their own. 2
binjalin Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Yeah nice to see, still would be nicer to see them in jail, but still, the loss of face for even a suspended sentence is a big ole bitchslap across the gob. but don't you accept that what they were accused of they DID? that's not important anymore?

Not sure where you can make that assumption from my comment at all. The defendants agreed to a settlement that called for them making public mea culpas, and the Judges agreed to that lose of face as sufficient and dropped their charges. I assume that if the was no truth in the charges the defendants would NOT have accepted an easier slap and the suits dropped but fought on. Granted in Thailand being CORRECT and ACCURATE in your charges is bizarrely NOT adequate defense in these cases.

So obviously the judges agree based on supporting evidence that Pheu Thai Party Spokesman Prompong is a liar with no credibility and is generally a bad person. An absolute pristine candidate that has all the necessary qualifications for a position in Yingluck's administration. 1

Does this mean that we can all call him these things with impunity or does it matter who says it? These defamation cases are sometimes the most hilarious things you can hear.
