Featured Replies

Ii am wondering if there is a way to transform an er6f into a naked bike- i am asking for a thai friend (we were just wondering if it has been done)

Please dont say "buy the er6n"...

This was discussed previously in another thread. I recall it said that there should be little modification needed other than replacing the gauge cluster and plastics.

as i remember correctly the brackets for the plastics are diffrent, so you would need to refit/ install the brackets for the ER6N fairings.

You can order all the parts required from Kawasaki. It's easy to do the change and other than the instument cluster it shouldn't cost you much more than a few thousand baht for all the brackets and plastics. :)

Hi Karlos- do you know of anyone who has done it? He really wants to change to an er6n... Also, will kawasaki do it for him? Or does it haave to be a local shop?

The gauge cluster will be the expensive part. I'd guess about 5-6000 baht for that. The rest will be cheap so probably about 10k all in because the plastics, lights and brackets will be pretty cheap. It's not a bad idea, once he's worked it out he can always stick the er6f fairings back on if he fancies touring for a while.

Not sure if the book would have to be changed, I'd guess so but that would only be a few hundred baht and a couple of hours at the transport dept.
