Westerners In Loei?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone!

I'm very new to the forum, and am currently trying to find other Westerners who live in the Isaan area.

I will be moving to the Loei province in a few months to teach English, and wondered if there

were any other Westerners living in or around the area.

Thanks!

Also, any information about the area would be greatly appreciated!

Which area around Loei will you be? Not lots to do, but it's a pretty area with plenty of places to explore. My base is Wang Suphung (20kms from Loei)

Chiang Khan 40 km or so North of Loei is full of Westerners (teachers and others) so good for a weekend break.

That is interesting. I have been to Chiang Kahn a couple of times and around in Loei province a couple of more times. It must be the most beautiful province in Thailand if you like mountains.

But I never seen any farangs there beside a couple of tourists on bicycles in Chiang Kahn.

How many " Chiang Khan 40 km or so North of Loei is full of Westerners (teachers and others)" do you think?

Is there a "farang hanging out" place in CK? Good to know for the next trip.

I recently moved from the village to the big city of Loei. I find lots to do around here. Great day trips and a great golf course!

PM me if you need anything
