Hi all, sorry I have another Q?

When I have written my sponsors letter and have all the other information, wage slips, letters, phone bills etc, do I send them direct to the Embassy or send them to G/F to be put in her folder for the interview?

Send them to your girlfriend to submit with the application!

If all the evidence is submitted with the application and that evidence satisfies the ECO that the criteria are met so that s/he is "minded to grant" the visa, then your girlfriend will be contacted within 10 working days and asked to attend the embassy at her convenience for a 'short interview.' At this she will be asked 5 or 6 simple questions, and if her answers are consistent with the paperwork the visa will be issued.

If she doesn't submit all the paperwork with the application, then she will need a long interview, and will join the queue for this.

This assumes you're applying to the UK.

Best of luck.

Remember, though, that not getting 'short interview' treatment does not mean that there is anything wrong with the application. Merely that there are some points the ECO is unsure about and so wants clarification.
